BACKGROUND
On April 17, 2018, Plaintiffs Raenelle Annette McDougal and Britney Gillon (collectively
“Plaintiffs”) filed a complaint against Defendant Eric Daniel Vasquez on April 17, 2018.
Plaintiffs allege motor vehicle and general negligence in the complaint for an automobile
collision that occurred on October 17, 2017.
On August 16, 2018, Defendant/Cross-Complainant Eric Daniel Vasquez filed a cross-complaint
against Roes 1-20 seeking indemnity, contribution, and declaratory relief.
On January 29, 2020, Plaintiffs filed an amendment to the complaint renaming Doe 1 as
Defendant Estate of Eric D. Vasquez, Deceased.
On March 20, 2020 Defendant Estate of Eric D. Vasquez, Deceased filed a demurrer pursuant to
California Code of Civil Procedure section 430.10.
