Counsel for respondent advises the court that there are eight individuals still in dispute and none are retirees. . The court adopts its tentative ruling as the order of the court and is set forth in this minute order. Cross-Petitioner Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs (“ALADS”) moved to enforce the judgment and writ of mandate issued by the court in this action on July 14, 2020, against Cross- Respondent County of Los Angeles (“County”). The court heard argument on March 17, 2022, and granted the motion in part in a lengthy minute order. The court continued the hearing for supplemental briefing on the issue of whether County is required to pay explosives pay to individuals that were sergeants or lieutenants when the cross-petition was filed. The court has received supplemental briefs from the parties and now rules on this remaining issue. The court does not repeat its analysis from the March 17, 2022, minute order, which is incorporated here by reference. Judicial Notice County’s Second Supplemental Request for Judicial Notice, Exhibits 8-9 – Granted. County’s Supplemental Brief The court ordered the parties to each file a supplemental brief not to exceed five pages. County filed a nine-page supplemental brief and ALADS objects.
