18 WHEREAS, at the Case Management Conference held in the above-captioned matter on
19 February 5, 2020, prior to the issuance of Governor Newsom’s Proclamation of a State of
20 Emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic on March 4, 2020, trial in this matter was scheduled
21 to commence on October 26, 2020;
22 WHEREAS, the parties have been undertaking their best efforts to conduct discovery in
23 this matter, but those efforts have been frustrated and delayed as a result of the ongoing COVID-
24 19 pandemic;
25 WHEREAS, as part of those efforts to conduct discovery, the parties met and conferred
26 and agreed upon a detailed Stipulation and Protective Order for Plaintiff’s disclosure of certain
27 confidential materials, which was signed and entered by this Court on June 9, 2020;
