BACKGROUND:
This action arises from various wage and hour violations Plaintiff endured during his
employment from May 2016 to October 2018 with Defendant. (See SAC, ¶¶ 4-12.)
On April 30, 2019, Plaintiff Jose Manuel Alday, individually and behalf of all others similarly
situated, commenced this action against Defendant Fantasy Dyeing & Fishing, Inc. for (1) failure
to pay minimum and regular rate wages; (2) failure to pay overtime compensation; (3) failure to
provide meal periods; (4) failure to authorize and permit rest breaks; (5) failure to timely pay
