No.: 2632731 17 18 Plaintiff David Ridge, pursuant to Evidence Code section 452, requests that the above- 19 captioned Court take judicial notice of the following: 20 Labor Code section 3213.2 provides that: 21 (a) In the case of a member of a police department of a city, county, or city and 22 county, or a member of the sheriffs office of a county, or a peace officer employed 23 by the Department of the Califomia Highway Patrol, or a peace officer employed 24 by the University of Califomia, who has been employed for at least five years as a 25 peace officer on a regular, full-time salary and has been required to wear a duty 26 belt as a condition of employment, the term "injury," as used in this division, 27 includes lower back impairments. The compensation that is awarded for lower back
