19 A. The Original Complaint and Successful Motion to Strike
LLC (“Jetcruzer”) filed its initial complaint in this action more

than two years ago, on October 8, 2019. Jetcruzer initially named Sandy Acosta (d/b/a Chino Aircraft

22 Interiors, etc.) (“Acosta” or “Chino Aircraft”) and DOE defendants. Jetcruzer’s complaint set forth
eight causes of action, and sought damages, attorneys’ fees, and punitive damages, among other relief.

Jetcruzer filed, in October of 2020, forms SB-16778 to amend its complaint to substitute

25 defendants Marvin]. Guzman (“Guzman”) and Ulises A. Zepeda (“Zepeda”) in place of fictitious
26 names DOE 1 and DOE 2, respectively, and then finally got around to serving them about five months
later, on or about March 15, 2021. Once served, Messrs. Guzman and Zepeda immediately demurred to
