WILLIAM B. ADAMS, an attorney admitted to practice before the courts of this State,
hereby affirms under penalty of perjury:
1. I am a partner in the law firm of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP,
counsel for Plaintiff Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (“Plaintiff”), in the above-captioned action. I
am familiar with the proceedings of this case. I make this statement based on my personal
knowledge of the facts set forth herein and in support of Plaintiff’s application to admit Samuel
Donohue as counsel pro hac vice to represent Plaintiff in this matter.
