SUPERIOR COURT OF CALIFORNIA, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES Civil Division Central District, Spring Street Courthouse, Department 1 19STCV23562 May 21, 2020 LEONARD SCHRAGE vs PARKER MILLIKEN CLARK 2:55 PM O'HARA & SAMUELIAN, A PROFESSIONAL CORPORATION Judge: Honorable Daniel J. Buckley CSR: None Judicial Assistant: S. Chung ERM: None Courtroom Assistant: E. Munoz Deputy Sheriff: None APPEARANCES: For Plaintiff(s): No Appearances For Defendant(s): No Appearances NATURE OF PROCEEDINGS: Non-Appearance Case Review re E-Service Provider Given the unique way this case was brought into a complex court, an order to choose a third- party cloud service (also known as an e-service provider) was not issued. The impact of the pandemic on court operations, however, compels that order be issued. The use of the bulletin board provided by the e-service provider is extremely critical and necessary during the pandemic. Every effort must be made to avoid court appearances; the ability to communicate via the bulletin board allows the Court to communicate with counsel without counsel stepping into the courthouse. Counsel and the parties are ordered sign up with an e-service provider within 10 days. The parties are free to choose one of the following services: 1) Case Anywhere (http://www.caseanywhere.com; while the parties are free to choose any of the three approved services, Department 1 prefers Case Anywhere); File & Serve Xpress https://secure.fileandservexpress.com); or 3) CaseHomePage (http://www.casehomepage.com). The Court has scheduled a non-appearance in 12 days to confirm compliance. Non-Appearance Case Review re E-Service Provider Compliance Order is scheduled for 06/08/2020 at 04:00 PM in Department 1 at Spring Street Courthouse. Counsel for plaintiff directed to give notice. Certificate of Mailing is attached. Minute Order Page 1 of 1
