                                              22          On September 16, 2021 at 8:30 AM in Department 55 of the above-captioned court, the
                                              23   demurrer of Dean C. Logan and County of Los Angeles (collectively, “Defendants”) to the Complaint
                                              24   of Joe E. Collins III (“Demurrer”) was heard and argued before the Honorable Malcolm Mackey.
                                              25   Following consideration of all the papers and arguments presented for and against the Demurrer,
                                              26   Judge Mackey adopted his tentative ruling as his final ruling as follows: the Court (a) sustained the
                                              27   Demurrer, without leave to amend, based upon all of its pages, (b) granted Defendants’ request for
