                        18                  Defendant William A. Soroky (“Soroky”) respectfully submits to this Honorable Court the

                        19      following Status Report:

                        20                  1.         Mr. Soroky’s Deposition

                        21                  On July 6, 2022, Plaintiff Sonny Benudiz (“Benudiz”) filed a motion to compel the deposition

                        22      of William A. Soroky.

                        23                  On September 6, 2022, Soroky timely filed an opposition to the motion to compel deposition.

                        24                  On September 12, 2022, Benudiz filed a reply.

                        25                  On September 19, 2022, the matter came on regular hearing and the Court granted the motion

                        26      to compel deposition and provided in pertinent part:

                        27                                    Plaintiff is entitled to take Mr. Soroky’s deposition because he is a party to the
                                                       action. However, the evidence provided indicates that Defendant is unable to be
                        28                             deposed currently because of his medical conditions, which is a valid reason. The
