FILED: MONROE COUNTY CLERK 12/20/2022 06:15 PM INDEX NO. E2020001864 NYSCEF DOC. NO. 115 RECEIVED NYSCEF: 12/20/2022 STATE OF NEW YORK SUPREME COURT COUNTY OF MONROE LG 55 DOE, Plaintiff, AFFIDAVIT vs. Index No.: E2020001864 JOSEPH A. GRASSO, Defendant. MARGARET PIXLEY, being duly sworn, deposes and says: 1. Iwas born on October 30, 1952, and Ipresently reside in Pittsford, New York. 2. I initiallyworked at Bishop Kearney High School for 2 ½ years, from 1995 to 1998, and at that time Imet Father Joe Grasso, who was on the faculty at that High School. 3. After Father Joe Grasso was named Principal of Siena Catholic Academy, I transferred to that school as his personal secretary. Iwas a full-time staff member for a year and then became part-time from 2000 to 2003, and would work from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and ultimately, I retired in 2003. 4. Father Joe was well liked by both students and faculty members. As his secretary, I would actually sit in his office and attend all meetings, unless there was a meeting with a parent or teacher, at which time Iwould be asked to leave, but that was very infrequent. If a student had a meeting with Father Grasso, it would either be in the Vice Principal's office or the school counselor's office. When I was Father Grasso's secretary, I had a desk with a computer to work at. When students would stop by to say hello between classes there was never any inappropriate conversation with students such as a student's masturbation habits. 5. I never heard anything derogatory about Father Joe. He was very guarded among students and would be careful not to be leftalone with any student. Father Joe was a very happy person and the atmosphere at Siena Catholic was very good. 14628843.1 10/25/2022 1 of 2 FILED: MONROE COUNTY CLERK 12/20/2022 06:15 PM INDEX NO. E2020001864 NYSCEF DOC.
