Preliminary Conferences (PC): On the scheduled PC date, a Preliminary Conference Order will be generated and issued by the Court. Parties may also submit (E-file) consent orders to: amend prior discovery orders; vacate or extend NOI; or restore, subject to court approval with demonstrated good cause. Use applicable court form (CC Order). 3. Discovery Motions: Parties may not file discovery motions without prior court permission. Instead, parties are to complete and efile a Virtual Discovery Conference Request and wait to be notified. 4. Note of Issue (NOI)– Note of Issue is issued by the Court on the PC order and remains the same throughout the case, unless extended by this Court for demonstrated good cause. Plaintiff MUST file NOI on or before the NOI issue date or the matter may be dismissed. This part does not hold certification conferences. 5. NINA date. Non appearance calendar, used for internal court purposes. No action or appearance required by the parties. 6. Upon the filing of the NOI, a settlement conference with the Court shall be scheduled. If a matter does not resolve at the settlement conference, the court shall immediately issue a final bench trial or direct select date, as is applicable.
