                                                UPDATED Compliance Conference Notice

                  This matter is scheduled for a conference on this Court’s Compliance Conference Part
                  (CC) calendar. This is a NON APPEARANCE date.                         However, on or before the
                  scheduled CC appearance date, parties MUST either:

                       2.   Complete and Efile a Virtual Discovery Conference Request Form

                  The parties are strongly encouraged to resolve discovery amongst themselves and
                  complete, fully execute and submit (Efile) a Compliance Conference Order on consent.
                  All correctly submitted consent orders shall be reviewed, signed and processed ASAP
                  and the CC conference will be deemed “held”.                  All parties that cannot submit a proposed
                  order on consent, shall submit (Efile) a Virtual Discovery Conference Request Form and
                  wait to be notified.
                  Pro Se: If a matter involves at least one Pro Se litigant, a Virtual Discovery Conference
                  Request Form must be completed and efiled, a consent Compliance Conference Order
                  cannot be accepted.


                  COMPLIANCE CONFERENCES: FAILURE TO EFILE A CC CONSENT ORDER OR
                  VIRTUAL CC CONFERENCE REQUEST ON OR BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED CC
                  DATE, MAY RESULT IN DISMISSIAL OF YOUR ACTION.

                  Until further notice, there are no physical appearances in Justice Colon’s parts, unless
                  otherwise indicated.
                  DISCOVERY RULES:


                       1.   Preliminary Conferences (PC): On the scheduled PC date, a Preliminary Conference
                            Order will be generated and issued by the Court. The Order shall also indicate the CC

                           date and NOI date.      The signed and entered orders will be uploaded to e-file on the
                           scheduled PC date. No action or appearance required by the parties.

                       2.   Parties may also submit (E-file) consent orders to: amend prior discovery orders;
                            vacate or extend NOI; or restore, subject to court approval with demonstrated
                            good cause.     Use applicable court form (CC Order).


                       3.   Discovery Motions:          Parties may not file discovery motions without prior court
                            permission.     Instead, parties are to complete and efile a Virtual Discovery
                            Conference Request and wait to be notified.

                       4.   Note of Issue (NOI)– Note of Issue is issued by the Court on the PC order and
                            remains the same throughout the case, unless extended by this Court for
                            demonstrated good cause.           Plaintiff MUST file NOI on or before the NOI issue
                            date or the matter may be dismissed. This part does not hold certification
                            conferences.

                       5.   NINA date.      Non appearance calendar, used for internal court purposes.                    No action
                            or appearance required by the parties.

                       6.   Upon the filing of the NOI, a settlement conference with the Court shall be
                            scheduled.     If a matter does not resolve at the settlement conference, the court
                            shall immediately issue a final bench trial or direct select date, as is applicable.
                            Henceforth, all trials (bench or jury) shall be held in person, subject to conditions.
                            All previously scheduled virtual bench trials shall proceed virtual, as scheduled.
