development of methods to stabilizeagarose beads and theirembedded antibody reagents.

Note the lastslides that discuss protein stabilizationusing sugar coatings. Note the paper from Paul Yaeger. I suggest
that you get a copy of thispaper.
Over the next month I would likeyou to report your progress at our group meetings.
During this time, I will
be looking forfunding thatcould be used to support your dissertationwork. Note that the positionis
not guaranteed yet. Three things need to happen as follows:
1) you need to likeour group
2) you need to show good progress
3) I need tofind funding
