Hospital Center have not retained any witnesses who will testify at
the time of trial;
• The Brooklyn Hospital Center is self-insured for medical
malpractice actions;
• Defendants are not aware of any witnesses to the alleged
malpractice other than those individuals identified within plaintiffs
medical records;

Dear Mr. Douglas:
Pursuant to your letter of February 4, 2021, please be advised that
The Brooklyn Hospital Center has advised our office that a search of both
the electronic and paper files maintained by the Professional Practice
Evaluation Committee was made and found that there were no written
statements by Dr. Stacy Martindale regarding Minel Johnson in either.
A search of the records maintained by the surgery and residency
departments was also undertaken and neither department maintains any
statements made by Dr. Martindale to the Professional Practice Evaluation
Committee regarding Ms. Johnson.
