(TT) has rêviswsd sidewa!k shed drawings EQ-001.00 prepared by Plan B Eñgiñêêriñg and dated Septembêr 14, 2018, related to the sidewalk in frontof 266 and 270 West End set" Avenue. These drawings are marked as "Permit & construction have been stamped and signed by John J. McErlean, PE. Below are our comments: 1. We recommend that in the project block of the block title the descriptien be changed to "266 West End Avenue" Avenue, New York, NY in relationto work being performed at 270 West End 2. We request a copy of the technicaldata sheets forthe specified Stros Hoist Mast. 3. The drawings do not accurate!y reprêsêñt the ornameniâi elements of the façade, and the gate and stoop at the ground floor levelthat would be under the sidewe!k shed. a. We request that a note be added to the drawings stating that care should be taken for the deck and the framing not to touch the façade. b. We request the note also require that an appi0priate gap be maintained batween the deck/framing and the fagade, and that the gap be bridged by Styrcfcam that iscantilevered off the deck. ¾" 4. We request clerificaticaon the thickness of the parapet plywood (the deck is called out to be plywood). 5. We request a detail for the deck-to-parapet connection. The drawings show a metal corner bracket and a diagonal brace; hewevêr, no infGirñaticñ on the ccññêcticñs (number, size, and configuration) is provided. 6. We request clarificaticñregarding the need for a splicefor the W8 members betwêêñ the hoist masts (see details 3 and 4). 7. We request the alarm and surveillance detailsrelated to access to the second floorfront windsws, and other parts of the property at 266 West End Avenue. 8. We recommend that TT be present on site during shed installationto verifythat shed isbeing installad per the submitted plans.
