The cause is argued and submitted. Tentative ruling stands. Request for judicial notice is in part GRANTED and in part DENIED. Demurrer of Catellus Parties is OVERRULED. Demurrer by SKIDMORE OWENS, ET AL. is SUSTAINED Regarding Demurrers of defendants, HKS and Skidmore, et al. to 3" Amended Complaint Demurrer SUSTAINED without leave to amend as to 2™ causes of action, with leave to amend as to the 1“ cause of action, with leave to amend as to the 5" cause of action only on the question of the “Zdocks”, as reflected in the transcript of the court reporter. Remainder of pleading is sufficient to advise people of causes of action. As to ALL motions to strike: Court issues tentative to Deny. Idea is to open discovery on everything, have plaintiffs put together comprehensive discovery plan, sere it by December and have discovery case management conference in late December and have parties bring their carriers. Otherwise, case to proceed with mediation. 11:09AM: Cause argued by Catellus defense counsel, David Webster. Demurrers of Skidmore and HKS are continued for further hearing.
