                    Dear   Judge     Rosa,


                    My    name    is Barbara     Giordano-Leonaggeo,             defendant      in the   above     case,   acting   Pro
                    Se.   My   attorney,     Gunilla    Faringer, Esq.,      was   needed      by  her  family    in Sweden,       and
                    therefore,     had to    remove      herself    from   the   above    case,   as well    as others.


                    My   husband,      Roger     Leonaggeo,       recently    experienced       a devastating       stroke,    leaving
                    him   without     use   of  his left-side    limbs   and   seriously     impairing     his vision.     Being his
                    sole   daily  caregiver,     my time     and    my   life is dedicated      to  him   and his needs.        He is
                    being    evaluated     for  surgery     in June.

                    I have,   just  today,    been    alerted    by your    office   that   the  date, May       26, 2022     '


                    represents      the   last day   to  submit any papers, if          needed.      I am, therefore,
                    respectfully      requesting      a one   month      adjournment        to  give me the      necessary time
                    to  review    the   case,   so that    I am able    to  prepare     and   respond      properly.

                    t reached out       to  Mr.  Anthony      Carlini,   Esq.   regarding     my   request     for  a time
                    extension.       I was  directed to      his assistant,     who    informed      me,   after   I explained     my
                    reasons for      the   request,    that   either   she or    Mr.  Carlini   would     be  responding       today.
               ,    As of   this  letter,   I have   not   received    a response.
