DISTRICT COURT {SANTI COUNTY, MINNESOTA By Z uly 28, 2017 The Honorable P. Hunter Anderson Isanti County District Court Isanti County Government Center 555 18th Avenue SW Cambridge, MN 55008 RE: City of Cambridge v. Cottrell, et. al. Court File No. 30-CV-17-351 Our File No. 4023-0137 Dear Judge Anderson: Filed in Tenth J udicial District Court Filed in Tenth so ET en Isanti County, MN Iam writing to request that you reschedule the Scheduling Conference currently set for 9:00 a.m. on Monday July 31, 2017. We respectfully request the hearing be rescheduled in approximately one month for the reasons identified below. Defendants Roger and Jennifer Cottrell concur with this request. Our office did not receive notice of this Conference until yesterday, July 27. Although we are able to attend, we would appreciate the Court granting us additional time to discuss settlement options with the Defendants before the City incurs the expense of a court appearance. I spoke with Defendant Jennifer Cottrell via telephone this morning and we reached an agreement in principle to resolve this matter. However, we do not expect to have the agreement in writing and approved by all parties prior to Monday’s scheduling conference. Defendant TKO Properties, LLP appears to be a defunct entity as we have been unable to contact them and the Secretary of State’s Office has no additional contact information for them. We believe the agreement with Mr. and Mrs. Cottrell will fully resolve all issues in this matter. 333 South Seventh Street, Suite 2800, Minneapolis, MN 55402 . office (612) 436+4300 + fax (612) 436-4340 + raswlaw.com q “\ Vy A\30-CV-17-351 30-CV-17-351 July 28, 2017 Page 2 Court File No. 30-CV-17-351 Thank you for your consideration of our request.
