DEFENDANT’S OBJECTION TO PLAINTIFF’S MOTION FOR ORDER
DATED JULY 11, 2022
The defendant, Angelo Tranquillo, respectfully objects to the Motion for Order of Default
filed by plaintiff dated July 11, 2022. The court did order depositions to be held within 45 days of
May 25, 2022. Unfortunately, Siena Mattiolo was a high school student with extra-curricular
activities on top of her high school schedule. For that reason, it was near impossible to schedule her
deposition before the school year let out. Angelo Tranquillo and Vienna Tranquillo have a young
baby making it very difficult to schedule said depositions.
On top of the above, once school let out, the undersigned’s best friend since high school
passed away suddenly. Counsel was involved in both the planning and preparation of both the wake
and funeral and is now also involved in a contentious probate hearing.
Respectfully, counsel asks the court for an additional 30 days within which to have the 3
parties sit for the depositions. Counsel will move heaven and earth to make sure the depositions can
take place within the said 30 days.
