ORDER APPOINTING SPECIAL PUBLIC DEFENDER

THIS CAUSE came on for consideration, and the Court, being fully advised in the
premises, finds that the above-named defendant is insolvent, unable to employ
counsel, and, therefore indigent. Furthermore, the Court finds that valid grounds exist
which necessitate appointment of a special public defender. Accordingly, it is

ORDERED and ADJUDGED as follows:

1. If the Public Defender or other counsel of record has previously entered an
appearance or been appointed to represent the defendant at any stage of the
proceedings, that attorney is hereby granted leave to withdraw. However, that attorney
forthwith shall forward all pleadings, discovery, and other documents in the file to the
special public defender listed below and, thereupon, original counsel is discharged of
further responsibility to the defendant without the necessity of filing any motion or
further pleading.
