DEFENDANT’S MOTION TO QUASH SUBPOENAS
The plaintiff has issued subpoenas to Siena Mattioli, Angelo Tranquillo and Vienna
Tranquillo. These subpoenas were issued despite the fact that defense counsel indicated he would
provide all three witnesses for their depositions but needed to schedule around the same. Siena is a
student and Vienna has a newborn. For that reason, we would need to schedule the same. Also, as
of yesterday, defense counsel was called into New Haven Superior Court for jury selection. When
notified of the same, plaintiff’s counsel indicated he did not care.
In any event, the defendants move to quash the subpoenas. We are quite willing to present
all three witnesses in a reasonable timeframe worked around their respective schedules.
