Upon the Court's inquiry as to the process in this matter, Mr. Geller explained there is a jury trial in California and is requesting an order from this Court allowing Kevin Anderson to be a witness at the trial. Mr. Anderson had no objection to the request. Mr. Geller inquired as to if Mr. Anderson would accept the subpoena by way of a photo text. Mr. Anderson indicated he would accept it this way, further noting he is not avoiding communications. Mr. Laciento indicated due to medical reasons, there is a possibility the trial date will be moved and inquired Mr. Anderson and the attorney's office can keep an open line of communication. Mr. Anderson noted he does not oppose an open line of communication. Mr. Laciento also requested, if the trial is moved that the order remain valid in the event the case is continued. The Court inquired if Mr. Anderson would be willing to make himself available with a 48 hour notice. Mr. Anderson noted he had an appointment on July 11, 2022 but other than that could be available. COURT ORDERED the Petition to compel Kevin Anderson to appear as a witness in Los Angeles, California Superior Court case PA092714 is GRANTED. COURT FURTHER ORDERED this order to remain effective until the case is tried. COURT DIRECTED Mr. Geller to prepare the Order and submit it to chambers for signature.
