Texas Administrative Code|§9.5 Priority Service to Veterans

(a) As required by the National Library Service, veterans using the service are to be given priority whenever they request services. Veteran borrowers are subject to the same requirements as other borrowers, namely they must meet eligibility requirements, must keep their accounts in good standing, must not misuse the service, etc. (b) Veteran borrowers are required to provide documentation to confirm that they are honorably discharged or honorably released from the U.S. Armed Forces. Veteran designation will be removed from a user's account if Texas State Library staff determines that the designation was inappropriately placed on the account.
