Ohio Administrative Code|Rule 3361:10-21-01 | Development: gifts of personal property.

                                                
It will be the policy of the university of
		Cincinnati to accept all gifts of tangible personal property (e.g., antiques,
		equipment), and intangible personal property (e.g., patents, copyrights,
		software licenses) so long as it can be determined that a gift is either
		readily marketable or that it can or will contribute to the operations or
		mission of the university. The senior vice president for administration and
		finance or the senior vice president's designee shall have authority to
		accept such gifts on behalf of the university and to promulgate policies and
		procedures consistent with this rule for determining which gifts should be
		accepted. The university of Cincinnati foundation shall also have the authority
		to accept gifts of personal property on behalf of the university and to
		promulgate policies and procedures consistent with this rule and the related
		policies and procedures of the university.
