This matter is before the Court on Plaintiff’s motion for summary adjudication. There are essentially two components to Plaintiff’s motion: (1) her request for summary adjudication on the doctrine of res ipsa loquitur as to Defendant Comcast (“Comcast”); and (2) her request for summary adjudication on the cause of action for dangerous condition (Government Code § 835) on public property as to GV (“GV”).  For the reasons discussed more fully below, Plaintiff’s motion is denied in its entirety.
I.                   Background
Plaintiff alleges that on or about April 7, 2021, she was walking on or near South Auburn and Neal Street in Grass Valley.  She tripped on or near a raised portion of the sidewalk adjoining an embedded television cable box and was injured as a result.  Plaintiff sues GV and Comcast (owner of the cable box) alleging negligence and premises liability causes of action.  As to Grass Valley, Plaintiff’s cause
