Plaintiffs obtained default against defendant Neil Ghodadra, M.D. The court ordered plaintiffs to prepare a default prove-up package, to be filed by June 29, 2021, before entry of default judgment. Plaintiffs’ counsel states that because of his heavy calendar, and because he has been preparing an opposition to Dr. Ghodadra’s recently filed petition for writ of mandate, he has been unable to complete the prove-up package in time. He states he filed a proposed order to extend the time for the prove-up package submission on June 23, 2021, but that it still has not been processed by the court’s e-filing system. Id. ¶4.
