Plaintiffs Lock and Key Productions, Inc., a television production company, and MysticArt Pictures, LLC, a casting agency, (“Lock/Mystic”) filed an action on June 27, 2018, against defendant Duane Spann Jr. (“Spann”) seeking a permanent restraining owner on behalf of themselves and their employees for a series of harassment and stalking incidents stemming from Spann’s failed audition for a reality television show in January 2011.
On August 21, 2018, defendant Spann filed an Cnswer and Counterclaim, to which plaintiffs filed both a demurrer and motion to strike August 28, 2019.
Defendant’s answer and counter claim were dismissed with prejudice and the motion to strike was granted as to defendant’s entire answer and counter claim by this Court on February 6, 2019.
On March 25, 2019 plaintiffs filed a motion for judgment on the pleadings.
