BACKGROUND

This is a lemon law case. On February 5, 2018 Plaintiff Frank Rojas (“Plaintiff”) filed a complaint alleging three causes of action against Defendant Volkswagen Group of America for (1) breach of express warranty; (2) breach of implied warranty; and (3) violation of the Song Beverly Act §1793.2. Plaintiff alleges on March 6, 2017, he leased a used 2015 Volkswagen Jetta that developed transmission defects.
