Background

On August 24, 2016, Plaintiff Gustavo Ramirez (“Plaintiff”) filed a complaint against Defendants Ford Motor Company (“Defendant”) and Does 1 through 10 for (1) breach of express warranty – violation of Song-Beverly Act; (2) breach of implied warranty – violation of Song-Beverly Act; (3) fraudulent inducement – concealment; (4) fraudulent inducement – intentional misrepresentation; and (5) fraudulent inducement – negligent misrepresentation. Plaintiff alleges he purchased a new 2013 Ford Focus on August 30, 2013 from Ford of Montebello.
