[TENTATIVE] ORDER RE: MOTION TO AUGMENT DESIGNATION OF EXPERT WITNESSES; MOTIN GRANTED
On August 9, 2016, Plaintiffs Donald Cleek and Tina Guardanapo (collectively, “Plaintiffs”) filed this action against Defendants Soo Ran Baek and Ted Moon (collectively, “Defendants”) for motor vehicle and general negligence relating to a May 25, 2015 motor vehicle accident. Plaintiffs’ prior counsel did not designate any experts and current counsel seeks to augment the expert designations.
Code of Civil Procedure section 2034.610 grants the court discretion to grant leave to augment an expert witness designation on motion of any party who has engaged in a timely exchange of expert witness information.
The court shall grant leave to augment or amend an expert witness list only if all of the following conditions are satisfied:
(a) The court has taken into account the extent to which the opposing party has relied on the list of expert witnesses.
