This action arises out of Plaintiff Jennifer “Sami” Gros’ (“Plaintiff”) employment with Valley Emergency Physicians Medical Group, Inc. (“VEP”) as an emergency room physician’s assistant. Defendant Dignity Health, Inc. (“Dignity”) owned and/or operated Northridge Hospital Medical Center (“Hospital”), where Plaintiff worked. Plaintiff alleges that Dignity exercised sufficient control over Plaintiff to be considered Plaintiff’s employer. Defendant Shannon Bernal (“Bernal”) held a managerial nurse position with Dignity. Plaintiff alleges that she told Bernal that the team triage was “horrible” and “dangerous,” and communicated her belief that the team triage violation federal health privacy laws because other patients were in close proximity and could overhear the doctors as they spok
