STATEMENT OF THE CASE

This is an action for legal malpractice and breach of fiduciary duty. As set forth in the complaint, the facts of the case are as follows. Plaintiff Marisa Nelson alleges that from 2004 to 2010 she worked for various companies in the medical field all of which were owned and controlled by Dr. Munir Uwaydah, an orthopedic surgeon. She alleges that in 2010 law enforcement officials approached and questioned he
