I. BACKGROUND
On January 7, 2016, plaintiff Alyce Spahnn (“Plaintiff”) filed a complaint against defendants Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (“Cedars”), Cedars Breast Center, Comprehensive Cancer Institute, Catherine Dang M.D. (“Dang”), Steven Frankel M.D., Megan Crance R.N., David Kulber M.D., Karen Butler M.D., Emily Siegel M.D. and Does 1 through 1000 (“collectively “Defendants”). On June 16, 2017, Plaintiff filed a first amended complaint (“FAC”) alleging causes of action for (1) medical negligence against all Defendants and (2) medical battery against Cedars, Dang, Cedars Breast Center, Comprehensive Cancer Institute and Does 1 through 1000. On August 11, 2017, Cross Country Healthcare Inc was substituted as a defendant for Doe 41 by an Amendment to Complaint.
