1. Allegations of the Complaint
Plaintiff, Maria Solis filed this action against Defendants, Olive View Medical Center, City of Los Angeles, and County of Los Angeles for damages arising out of a slip and fall. Plaintiff’s complaint includes a sole cause of action for premises liability; within that cause of action, Plaintiff pleads three counts – negligence, willful failure to warn, and premises liability. Plaintiff’s substantive allegations are found at ¶Prem.L-1, wherein she alleges:
While Plaintiff was visiting a patient on Defendants’ property, Plaintiff was severely injured when water was on the floor, causing her to fall. Defendants had a duty to maintain said premises in a safe and reasonable cond
