Plaintiff, Ramon Cruz filed this action against Defendant, Ylenia Castillo for damages arising out of an automobile accident. Cruz is a minor and is appearing in the action by and through his GAL, Guadalupe Arre.
At this time, Cruz, by and through his GAL and attorney of record, has agreed to settle all claims with Defendant for the total amount of $15,000. Plaintiff suffered various soft tissue injuries as a result of the accident but has recovered fully at this time. If the settlement is approved, $3115 will be used for medical expenses, $3750 will be paid for attorneys’ fees, and $2523 will be used for costs of suit; the remaining $5612 will be placed in a blocked account.
