This case arises from Plaintiff Guangwen Hao’s claim that Defendants Terry Yip and Associates LLC (“TYA”) and Terry Yip (“Yip”) breached an agreement to provide immigration services to Plaintiff by failing to prepare immigration petitions. Plaintiff alleges he entered into a series of agreements with Defendants. First, on January 22, 2013, the parties entered into an agreement where Defendants promised to prepare 2 multinational manager L-1A visa petitions for Plaintiff’s wife and daughter for $18,000. In reliance, Plaintiff formed a corporation to sponsor the visas, paid rent, and paid the $18,000, but Defendants did not prepare any documents and would only give back Plaintiff $18,000 in credit for towards
