Tentative Ruling
Plaintiff Tanya Privalov’s (“Plaintiff”) motion to compel Defendant Sactown Contractors
Corp.’s (“Defendant”) further responses to request for production of documents (set
one) is ruled upon as follows.
After the motion was filed, Defendant served Plaintiff with further responses and
produced documents. Belated service of responses, however, does not render a motion
to compel discovery moot. The moving party is entitled to a ruling once the motion is
made. (See CCP § 1005.5.) Thus, the motion is GRANTED. The Court expresses no
opinion about the sufficiency of responses served after the motion was filed. Defendant
shall serve further responses by March 26, 2024, unless the
