BACKGROUND
This action arises out of Plaintiff Elias Corona Lopez’s (“Plaintiff”) employment with Defendant Miller Castings, Inc. (“Defendant”). Plaintiff was hired in August 2011 to work as a “dip room operator.” On January 14, 2015, Plaintiff injured his left arm while working with a mold. Plaintiff was diagnosed with a left elbow strain, and was given work restrictions of “limited use of left arm.” Plaintiff alleges that Defendant violated these restrictions by assigning him to duties that required heavy use of his arms. Plaintiff was placed on medical leave on February 12, 2015. Plaintiff was terminated on June 12, 2015. Plaintiff alleges that Defendant’s human resources manager informed him that due to the exhaustion of his FMLA leav
