On August 18, 2015, Plaintiff Ho Jung Jeong, a minor, by and through his Guardian ad Litem, Chen Li (“Plaintiff”) filed this action for alleged damages arising out of a July 14, 2015 fall. Plaintiff alleges a single cause of action for negligence, asserting that Defendants negligently supervised their Music Ministry Program and failed to use reasonable care by allowing and encouraging Plaintiff to run a backwards footrace. Defendants General Assembly of the True Jesus Church in the U.S.A. (“General Assembly”) and True Jesus Church in Irvine (“True Jesus Church”) (collectively, “Moving Defendants”) now move for summary judgment.
