On August 2, 2016, the undersigned suspended the conservator of the person due to non-reporting. The conservator nevertheless continued to not report and failed to appear in court when initially ordered to do so. The Ventura County Public Guardian is serving as interim temporary conservator.
The court investigator's report of November 22, 2016 indicates that a number of the conservatee's siblings support conservatee's sisters Gloria, Marie and Elvia serving as successor co-conservators, but actions speak louder than words, and no application has been filed as of November 28, 2016, at opening, for the hearing on November 29, 2016.
In the absence of a timely filed petition by a family member, the court appoints the Public Guardian as successor conservator of person and conservator of the estate of estate Carlos Mancilla. Should this be a limited conservatorship ? Bond is on file.
Set hearings on 60 day level of care, inventory/appraisal in anticipation of 2628 waiver, and one-year status
