Having reviewed the motion and notice of joinder, the Court rules as follows.
BACKGROUND
On January 29, 2020, Plaintiff S.C. (“Plaintiff”), a minor, by and through her guardian ad litem, F.G, file a Complaint against Defendants Los Angeles Unified School District (“LAUSD”); LA’s Best (“LAB”); Daniel Khodaverdi (“Khodaverdi”); and DOES 1 – 100, alleging 9 causes of action arising from childhood sexual abuse occurring from Fall 2017 to Summer 2018.
On June 17, 2021, Plaintiff filed this instant motion.
On June 22, 2021, Defendant LAUSD filed a Notice of Joinder to the instant motion.
Trial is set for June 8, 2022.
PARTY’S REQUEST
Plaintiff requests the Court grant the motion and compel nonparty LAPD to comply with the subpoena and produce the requested report on the sexual battery.
