1. Overview and Procedural Posture.

This is an employment case arising from plaintiff's career as a radiologist and professor at UCSD, and her battle with alcoholism since at least 2010. Plaintiff alleges that two UCSD colleagues, defendants Bradley and Sirlin, conspired to have illicit sexual relations with her by misusing their positions of authority and exploiting her vulnerabilities as a subordinate and an alcoholic. She alleges she was retaliated against and ultimately lost her position at UCSD as the direct result of the defendants' conduct. The 24 count, 231 paragraph complaint was filed October 31, 2017.
