The Court issues the following tentative ruling for the Case Management Conference ("CMC") set for February 13, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., in Department 28:
The Court has received the CMC Statements from the parties. No appearance is required under the following conditions:
All parties report that a mediation is scheduled for August 3, 2020. All parties request that the Court not set a deadline for class certification motions until after the mediation is completed. In light of the parties' requests, the Court shall reset the CMC for September 18, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., in Department 28. CMC Statements are due 15 calendar days prior to the CMC, with courtesy copies delivered directly to the department. The Court encourages the parties to file a Joint CMC Statement. The parties shall report on the mediation and propose a schedule for the filing, briefing and hearing on any class certification motion.
