Petition for Approval for Transfer of Payment Rights
Petitioner J.G. Wentworth Originations, LLC’s (“Petitioner”) petition for approval of transfer of structured settlement payment rights (“Petition”) is Denied.
The Court, having reviewed the declaration of Bryan Sanchez (“Sanchez”) finds that Sanchez appears to have not revealed the accurate facts. Sanchez attests he has not attempted previous transactions involving his structured settlement payments that were denied, dismissed, or withdrawn. Sanchez Decl. ¶ 10. This appears not true. On 03/12/18, Sanchez attempted to sell a portion of his payments for Linker & Assoc. in OCSC Case No. 2018-00978831, which was denied by Dept. C14 on 05/11/18, with a subsequent motion for reconsideration also denied on 07/27/18. On 04/24/19, Sanchez attempted to sell a portion of his payments to CBC Settlement Funding, LLC in OCSC Case No. 2019-01065969, which was denied by Dept. C16 on 08/16/19. Neither of these were listed in Sanchez’s declaration.
