The motion of attorney Edward Antonino for an order relieving him as counsel of record for plaintiff Debra Tanner is moot because of the Substitution of Attorney form filed on October 8, 2020. The court notes that plaintiff may not represent herself in connection with the PAGA cause of action and will have to obtain counsel if she wishes to proceed with that claim.
The Status Conference set for today is ordered off calendar. The court sets a Stay Review Hearing for April 29, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. Defendants are ordered to file a Status Report at least a week before the hearing. If plaintiff is not represented by counsel at the time of the next hearing in this case, the court will set an Order to Show Cause Why the Court Should Not Strike Plaintiff’s PAGA Cause of Action.
The clerk is directed to serve notice of the ruling.
