Tentative Ruling: Motion to Quash Subpoena:
The unsupported Notice of Motion to Quash Subpoena filed by Plaintiff Sarah Maddams is DENIED.
While Plaintiff filed a Notice of Motion on April 16, 2018, which indicates her intent to seek orders quashing subpoenas served on West Anaheim Medical Center and Hoag Memorial, along with an intent to seek sanctions, the Notice is unaccompanied by a Motion.
Additionally, the Notice does not provide the subpoenas which are the subject of the same and, consequently, the Court cannot evaluate the merit of Plaintiff’s claim they are “boilerplate in nature, non-specific and non-particularized to the injuries to those parts of Plaintiff’s body which were injured as a result of the subject incident.” (See Notice: 2:22-23.)
