Demurrer
Having reviewed the demurrer, Opposition, and Reply, the Court rules as follows.
BACKGROUND
On January 25, 2021, Plaintiff Photon Murr (“Plaintiff”), successor-in-interest to William Benjamin Harris, IV, filed a Complaint against Defendants Weedmaps Media, LLC; Ghost Management Group, LLC; WM Holding Company, LLC; Universal Stop, Inc; David Christopher Gregorich; Movses Movsisyan; and DOES 1 – 100, inclusive (collectively, “Defendants”), alleging 5 causes of action arising from the shooting death of her son, William Benjamin Harris, IV (“Decedent”).
On March 30, 2021, Defendants Weedmaps Media, LLC, Ghost Management Group, LLC, and WM Holding Company, LLC (collectively, “WM Entities”) filed a demurrer with a motion to strike.
On May 6, 2021, the Court granted the motion to strike and ruled the demurrer was moot in light of that granting.
On June 2, 2021, Plaintiff filed a First Amended Complaint (“FAC”).
On July 2, 2021, Defendant WM Entities filed a demurrer.
