BACKGROUND
On July 1, 2019, Plaintiff Joshua Marx (Plaintiff) filed this action against Defendants City of Los Angeles (City), State of California (State), County of Los Angeles (County) CALTRANS (CALTRANS) and Los Angeles County Metroplitan Transporation Authority (MTA) for dangerous condition of public property and general negligence. Plaintiff later amended the complaint to include Defendants Woods Maintenance Services, Inc. (Woods), Thrifty Tree Service, Inc. (Thrifty) and Shelter Clean Services, Inc. (Shelter)
On August 22, 2019, MTA filed its answer. On August 29, 2019, the Court dismissed the County, without prejudice, pursuant to Plaintiffs request. On September 5, 2019, the Court dismissed the State, without prejudice, p
