Having considered the moving papers, the Court rules as follows. No opposing papers were filed.
BACKGROUND
On June 25, 2019, Plaintiff Jose Melendrez (“Plaintiff”) filed a complaint against Defendants Southern California Edison, Utiliquest, LLC, and Utiliquest alleging negligence for an electrocution that occurred on June 30, 2017.
On November 7, 2019, Plaintiff-in-Intervention Zurich American Insurance Company filed a motion for leave to file a complaint-in-intervention pursuant to California Code of Civil Procedure section 387.
On November 15, 2019, Plaintiff filed a first amended complaint.
On December 4, 2019, Plaintiff filed a second amended complaint.
Trial is set for December 22, 2020.
