La Verne Ave., Pomona, CA 91767 (“subject property”) obtained a mortgage on the subject property from New Century Mortgage Corporation (“New Century”), secured by a deed of trust (“New Century DOT”). The New Century DOT was recorded on October 29, 1998. The New Century DOT has been paid off, but was never reconveyed.
