Plaintiff Nationstar Mortgage LLC dba Champion Mortgage Company (“Plaintiff”) alleges as follows: On October 23, 1998 the owner of the real property located at 242 E. La Verne Ave., Pomona, CA 91767 (“subject property”) obtained a mortgage on the subject property from New Century Mortgage Corporation (“New Century”), secured by a deed of trust (“New Century DOT”). The New Century DOT was recorded on October 29, 1998. The New Century DOT has been paid off, but was never reconveyed.
